Alexandro

Alexandro is a studio initiated illustrative display typeface. It is the direct response to the more serious projects that the studio has taken on recently. There was a yearning to create something bold, something expressive, something curious and something down right weird. Alexandro is exactly this - it treats each character as that, a character or a little being or monster. Drawing inspiration from 70s cult art house movies that ask "is this a movie? or is this art?" as well as geometric display typefaces of the same era.

The result is a typeface oozing with personality, completely impractical but playful and irreverent. It has a regular and an italic version with 264 odd characters in total. Alexandro - is this reality!? no this is a typeface.
